Private Label Manufacturing FAQs: MOQ, Samples and Quotes

Answers to common questions about working with NovoStitches.

What can I send to start a project?

A catalogue style, a sketch, a tech pack, a reference photo or a reference sample. Even a rough sketch is enough to begin.

Do you make a sample before bulk production?

Yes. A sample is made for your approval and production proceeds against the approved sample.

What are the minimum order quantities?

Minimum order quantity starts at 50 units per style. Exact minimums by size and colour, along with price and lead time, are confirmed in your quotation.

How long do samples and production take?

Timings depend on the product and materials. We confirm sample and production lead times in the quotation, after reviewing your specification.

How is pricing decided?

Pricing is quoted per project. It depends on materials, construction, wash or finish, hardware, branding and packaging, and quantity.

Can you use my own labels and packaging?

Yes. Private label is the core of what we do: your labels, trims and packaging on the finished product.

Can you develop a product from a reference sample?

Yes, where you have the right to produce the design. We develop the pattern, materials and construction from your reference.

What materials do you work with?

Denim in rigid, stretch and other types, and leather from full-grain to suede, plus clearly labelled leather alternatives. The materials pages describe each.

Is a material always what it is described as?

Yes. Genuine leather, bonded leather and leather alternatives are always labelled as what they are.

Do you make footwear?

No. Footwear and weapon-related accessories are outside what we make.

How are payment and shipping handled?

Payment and shipping terms are agreed per order and set out in the quotation.

Can I get an agreement in place before sharing designs?

Tell us when you enquire and we will discuss it before you send anything sensitive.

More questions buyers ask

Buyers usually have a handful of practical questions before they send a brief. This page answers four that come up beyond minimums and samples.

If your question is not here, include it with your enquiry. We would rather answer it with your project in front of us than guess in general terms.

Starting a project

You do not need a complete file. Projects can start from a sketch, a tech pack or a reference sample.

What helps most is clarity on what you want the final product to feel like. Fit, material, finish and branding all matter, and each can be described with a photo or a reference piece.

Early clarity saves time on both sides, so include whatever you already know, even if parts are still undecided.

Working across denim and leather

Denim and leather are made under one roof. That means a collection with jeans, a belt and a wallet can be run through one team and one process.

You still approve each style on its own paid sample. Details are confirmed at quotation for every style.

Mixing categories also helps your range feel consistent, since fabric, hardware and branding choices can be planned together.

Before the order leaves

You are not asked to trust a shipment you have not seen. Before shipping, we share QC photos and video of the finished goods.

If you spot something you want to discuss, you can raise it while the order is still with us.

Questions buyers ask

Can I start with only a sketch?

Yes. Projects can start from a sketch, a tech pack or a reference sample. Missing details are raised as questions before the sample is made.

Can I combine denim and leather in one project?

Yes. Both are made under one roof, so a mixed collection can follow a single process and contact. Each style is quoted and sampled on its own.

What will I see before my order ships?

We share QC photos and video of the finished goods before shipping.

Whose labels and packaging are used?

Yours. Buyers use their own labels and packaging, and we are a private-label partner based in Pakistan.
