Sampling Process: You Approve Before We Produce

Sampling comes before bulk, every time

A sample is where your idea becomes something you can hold, wear and judge. At NovoStitches, sampling is a paid step, and you approve the sample yourself before any bulk production begins.

That order protects you. You check fit, fabric, stitching, finish and trims on a real piece. If something is off, you say so, and it is corrected before it is repeated across an order.

What you check on a sample

Treat the sample as your inspection point. Look at it against your brief, not just against your first impression.

  • Fit and proportions against your size chart
  • Fabric or leather feel, weight and colour
  • Stitching, seams and construction
  • Wash, finish or grain
  • Labels, hardware and trim placement

How to get a closer first sample

Clear input gives a closer first result. A tech pack with measurements is ideal, but it is not required.

If you have a reference sample, send it or send clear photos of it. Mark what you like and what you want changed. If you only have a sketch, that works too, and we will ask about any missing details before cutting starts.

  • Include measurements for the base size
  • Name the fabric or leather feel you want
  • Point out any detail that must not change

Fee and approval

The sample is paid. The fee and the sample details are confirmed at quotation, because they depend on the style, materials and finish.

Once you approve, that sample becomes the reference for bulk production. If you want changes, we make them and you review again before moving on.

Keep your notes in one place. When you send feedback, list each change as a short line, so the next sample answers every point.
