What it is
Full-grain leather keeps the top layer of the hide, including the natural grain. It is not sanded to remove marks, so scars and pores stay visible and are part of the look.
How it behaves
It is strong and breathable, and it develops a patina with use. Because it is left largely natural, the surface varies between hides and within a hide.

About Full-Grain Leather
Full grain leather uses the complete top layer of the hide, with the natural grain left intact. Nothing is sanded off to remove marks, so the surface keeps its pores, texture and small natural variations.
It is the most natural form of leather and is chosen for products that are expected to last and develop character.

How it looks and feels
Full grain leather has a visible, natural grain and often shows scars, wrinkles or marks from the animal's life. These are signs of authenticity, not faults, though they affect which parts of the hide can be used for each panel.
It is strong, breathable and ages well. Over time it develops a patina, becoming darker and richer with handling and light exposure.

Where it works and where it does not
Full grain suits jackets, bags, belts, wallets and footwear where durability and an honest, natural look matter. It is less suited to garments that need a perfectly uniform surface, because variation is part of the material.
Hides come in different sizes and quality levels, and cutting yield depends on defects. Natural variation means panels may not match perfectly, so set expectations for shade and grain differences early.

Will it scratch?
Yes, light scratches can occur, and many soften into the patina. Finish type affects how visible they are.
Is availability fixed?
No. Leather options are confirmed at quotation.
